GREEN LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK

Green Lake Provincial Park is located in the Cariboo area of British Columbia, Canada. The lake is tinted green due to the low outflow and shallow warm water. Fed by two creeks and lake bottom springs, Green Lake is stocked annually with rainbow trout for some of the best fishing around.

At Green Lake Provincial Park there are 57 kilometers of shoreline, making it the perfect location for fishing and picnics! The area surrounding the lake is open rangeland and forest with aspens and pine trees. Year-round you can spot moose, owls, squirrels, deer, and even some black bears.

The summer is the perfect time for taking a dip in the lake or in one of the designated swimming areas. On the lake, there are often boaters and visitors in canoes and kayaks. There is a playground for kids to enjoy. In the offseason, the park becomes the perfect spot for cross country skiing and snowshoeing.

Green Lake Provincial Park is an exclusive spot to fish, relax, and enjoy your day.
