News 2005

Well our first full summer with the Resort and it was great, everything Becky and I expected and more.

We made many new friends and had lots of fun with the ones we already knew. Our weather for the summer was up and down and not overly hot, that's why the fishing was simply awesome. Apri & May the weather was great, June we had 27 days of rain out of 30. July, Aug, Sep was up & down with rain, wind and a little sun. We have purchased a honey wagon for the resort, no more blue boys on moving your trailers. We look forward to another great summer of fishing in 2006. See you in the Spring.

Big Fish Return 2005

Simply awesome, we weighed in 235 fish over 5lbs, total weight of fish was well over 1400lbs. 95 more fish over 5lbs then 2004. We had a meeting with fisheries Nov 29/05 and they were also very happy with the results of the kreel days we did for them. They said that in 2007 & 2008 we should see fish in the 20lb range.

Top fish for 2005

This year's award goes to a young fellow from Prince George, Travis McCullum. His fish weighed in at 15lbs, that was the biggest fish caught from this Resort since 1982. Great job Travis!

DU Derby 2005

David Troha from Stanwood WA, USA won the Derby with a 7lb 9oz fish. Thanks for all your donations and participation to another great Derby. Looking forward to another successful Derby in 2006. The Derby is scheduled for July 1 & 2. If you wish to donate to the Derby call us or bring your donations with you when you come.

Becky & I would like to thank everyone who helped us out when they came to our Resort. Without your help & support this would be more like a real job, and not a lot of fun. Look forward to seeing everyone in 2006!
